East Glacier and more...

If you are planning a visit to Glacier National Park, although the park is a destination unto itself and worth the trip, there is so much more to see in the vicinity of Glacier. Places like Polebridge and East Glacier (and of course Flathead Lake) need to be included on your itinerary. There is a lot of history in this area that most tourists never hear about.

Today I discovered a great blog entry about East Glacier Montana by a Mary Scriver in Valier, Montana. Mary gives some history about the area and Marias Pass and how these places came to be used by the people of their day. I encourage you to visit this blog and learn more about this beautiful part of the country.

Oh and in the event this is your first time reading this blog, be sure to subscribe as we keep this updated with information about our two favorite places in northwest Montana, Glacier National Park and Flathead Lake.
